PARTNERS
The CSIR is the implementing partner for the Municipal Capability & Partnership Programme (MCPP). The Programme was initiated and is spearheaded by Anglo American, emanating from a Memorandum of Agreement with the Department of Cooperative Governance (DCoG) to strengthen municipal governance capability. The Programme is made possible through the commitment from Anglo American, Anglo American Platinum, Kumba Iron Ore, De Beers and their participating sites, as well as the active involvement and collaboration of participating municipalities and other partners such as the Impact Catalyst, Provincial CoGHSTA’s, DBSA, MISA, NBI etc.
Collaborating for service delivery and development impact
INDUSTRY
Anglo American, Anglo American Platinum, De Beers, Kumba Iron Ore, and Sites as partners in support of service delivery and sustainable development, in collaboration with CSIR as Implementing Partner and other industry partners such as the Impact Catalyst, and the National Business Initiative (NBI).

GOVERNMENT
DCoG, Provincial CoGHSTA's, Districts, Sector Departments and other role players such as SALGA, DBSA, MISA and research institutions such as CSIR UP, PARI as partners in local government capability development.
MUNICIPALITIES
Municipalities and Municipal Teams responsible for water, infrastructure maintenance and strategic development planning, as custodians of service delivery and municipal development.
